Oops, I Did It Again

Who knew having 2 kids would be so tough. Especially when Sue is doing most of the work. But here I am, 10 day between blogs. Of course there was Xmas and all that comes with it - shopping, wrapping, unwrapping, visiting, eating and more eating.

Hopefully in the new year my blogging will become more regular.

But for those interested, TJ is doing well, Jessica is doing well and Sue is doing well - a little tired, but doing well. I hope everyone had a nice holiday.

Missing Blogger

Okay I know it's been over a week but a lot is going on. TJ is growing and getting bigger, Jess is enjoying her little brother and Sue and I are adjusting to 2 kids rather than 1. The Mitchell Report came out and called Clemens a cheater. My fantasy football teams are both in the semi-finals, the Redskins are teasing me by trying to stay in the playoff hunt and so on and so forth. Oh, and by the way, it's holiday season so that means shopping, tv specials and lots of xmas music. I'll try to be better in the future.

The Mets and the Winter Meetings

What are the Mets doing? I understand if they don't have enough to get Johan Santana. That's fine. But they're doing nothing. How many catchers do they need? Did Milledge's stock drop that much that all they could get was a good defensive catcher and a platoon corner outfielder. Why couldn't he have been included in a bigger trade for a good pitcher? They're pitching is mediocre and if they go into next season with the staff they have now, they may not make the playoffs again. Get somebody- Bedard, Haren, Blanton, something. But don't tell me Livian Hernandez is going to be the answer. The Hernandez brothers are probably close to 100 years old combined. By September they'll probably be on social security! C'mon Mets!

Welcome TJ

We have been waiting for his arrival for some time. It's not Santa Claus - it's Tyler Joseph, TJ for short. All 8lbs 13oz and 21 inches popped out, literally, on Friday, November 30th at 6:48pm. Everyone is very excited. Sue is doing well and Jessica is very happy to have a baby brother, even though she wanted a sister. After 2 uneventful days in the hospital, we brought him home on Sunday in the snow storm. I wasn't real happy about driving him home in that and thought they should keep us for another day, but our time at the hospital was up.

Everyone is adjusting nicely at home. For now, TJ just eats, sleeps and goes in his diaper for the most part. Jessica would like him to eat real food, play with her and walk, or at least crawl, but we have explained to her that she may have to wait awhile for all those things to happen. We'll keep you posted.
