Pot Vending Machine

This has got to be a WTF. I am all for using marijuana for medicinal purposes, but to be able to get it out of a vending machine just seems like someone is asking for problems. I can see the late night news story now - Pot Vending Machine Stolen! It's gonna happen.

I’m glad they didn’t have those when I was in High School. Me and my friends would have been scrounging for pocket change 24/7.

In Japan, I saw all sorts of vending machines, including beer, and no one seemed to abuse this system. The Japanese parked their bicycles out in the open without locking them. Cultural differences? I think vending machines for marijuana in the U.S. would only lead to trouble. Too many opportunists...

Ah... Why in the world would they do this? I can see someone beating up or killing someone with a card for them to have access to free marijuana... you know something that costs $5 in the streets. (Or in parts of Newark, NJ $2.50)

What a bad bad idea... especially in LA. Maybe have the machine in a doctor's lab where he, and only he, can go and get it for his patients. Maybe have it in a lobby of a hospital or medical center with 24 hour security, finger scans, and eye readers. Or maybe it is just a ridiculous thought.

I vote for the latter.

to lessen the redardedness of this idea there should be snack machines right next to the pot machine stocked with plenty of chips!
