Tiger Woods out for the Year
After winning the US Open this past weekend in some of the most enjoyable golf to watch ever, Tiger will be having season ending surgery. I expect the ratings for golf won't be the same for the rest of the year. Let's fac it - you either love Tiger or hate him, but he makes you take notice and watch. The ratings on Sunday were the 3rd highest ever for a Sunday telecast of the US Open. It was like watching David and Goliath on the golf course. I like Tiger, but I think I was rooting a little for Rocco Mediate. The underdog almost won, but Tiger showed why he is probably the most dominant athlete of our era.

Dude... I sincerely do not like when people put this dominant title on Tiger.
Yes, he is the most dominant golfer now and possibly ever. But you cannot compare someone playing golf to say... eh... Roger Federer. Both extremely dominant players in their sport, but you cannot compare the sports.
You, along with almost every sportscaster in the world always does this. But comparing Babe Ruth to Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretsky to Cristiano Ronaldo, Tiger to Federer is not something that ANYONE should do. Sports have to be separated when putting these type of titles on people.
Yes, Woods is the best EVER to golf but to call him the most dominant is not something we should be doing... except when talking about Golf and only Golf.
By the way, dayum you Rocco!!! You had it!!! O! And is everyone else laughing at the fact that Kobe is being compared to Jordan. Let's be serious, Jordan would have taken over...
Rick, I'm sorry... don't think I was attacking you. I have been getting mad at this situation for about 3-4 years now. The PTI guys do this all the time and I want to go through the TV and choke them.
