600 fans at Marlins game

Can someone please tell me why they would build a new stadium for the Florida Marlins? Nobody goes to the games now, what good is a new stadium going to do. They still won't go to the games. Earlier this week there were only about 600 people at a game - read the article. That is sad and pathetic!
