Let's Go Mets
The Mets are on a roll. Winners of 6 of their last 7, tonight they go for a sweep of the hated Braves, and a chance to get over .500. Early season ace Mike Pelfrey is on the mound. Let's hope it doesn't rain.

Super Bowl Commercials You Didn't See

If you thought the Super Bowl commercials were just mediocre, as I did, here are some you didn't see. You may like some of these better. See the videos here.

Hello Kitty

Why do people do these kinds of things to their cats? I would never do this to Callie. Check it out.

J-E-T-S

I think I just jumped on board the Jets bandwagon. I was rooting for the Chargers to beat them but now that the Jets have won, I hope they beat the Colts this weekend in the AFC Championship game. I think it's great for New York to have the Jets doing well. The Giants sucked this season, the Knicks are less than mediocre and the Nets are the worst team ever. The Rangers and Islanders are losers and even though I like the Devils, not that many people care about them and nobody talks hockey on New York sports radio stations.
So let's go Jets. They also take the pressure off of listening about what screwups the Mets have been in the offseason. I'd love to see the Jets play in the Super Bowl. It's been like 40 years since Joe Namath made his guarantee. It's Rex Ryan's turn to make his guarantee.

What a Difference a Decade Makes
According to the American Dialect Society, the 2009 Word of the Year was "tweet"; and the word of the decade was google. In 2000, if someone said tweet they were surely talking about a bird. And Google, they had just started. We were all still watching those crazy Yahoooooooooo commercials like the biker dude sewing. I tried finding it on the internet but had no luck. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can find it, please post it here. Thanks.

Something is Always Happening at McDonald's

All I can say is don't mess with this woman and her Chicken McNuggets. She didn't just punch the window, she punched THROUGH the window. That is some real hunger. I wish they had video on this - I'd like to see it.

Jason Bay a Met
The Mets finally made a good free agent signing this year. I know
Jason Bay isn't Willie Mays, but hopefully he'll do a good job for the Mets. Only time will tell. So right now the lineup isn't looking so bad as long as the injury bug doesn't hit again. But what about the rotation? There is still no legitimate #2 man and everyone has their problems. Can Ollie keep his head on straight, can Maine stay healthy, and will Pelfrey ever take the next step? Again, only time will tell.
What do you think?

So happy new year to everyone and surprise surprise - Coach Zorn was fired. That's not shocking news - let's just see who they bring in to coach the team. In the meantime, check out this article on why the Skins and Zorn were a bad match.
